We're partnering with one of the UK's most recognisable car brands who are looking for an experienced Technical 3D Artist to join a cutting-edge team delivering world-class digital experiences for luxury vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative and technically skilled 3D Artist who can bridge the gap between design and software development, transforming creative concepts into optimised, real-time ready assets and high-quality visual renders.
You'll collaborate closely with software engineers and design teams to bring innovative visual experiences to life while maintaining technical precision and exceptional creative standards.
Key Responsibilities- Create high-quality 3D assets for real-time applications and polished visual renders
- Develop optimised models suitable for animation and software implementation
- Collaborate with designers and developers to realise creative visions
- Rig, model, animate and optimise 3D assets
- Create UV maps, textures and shaders
- Troubleshoot files and workflows including glTF pipelines
- Ensure assets meet performance and engine limitations
- Strong experience within a games studio, 3D production house, or automotive visualisation environment
- Proficiency in some or all of: Blender, 3DS Max, Maya, Unreal Engine
- Rendering experience using VRED and/or V-Ray
- Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator etc.)
- Strong understanding of real-time engines and optimisation techniques
- Experience with 3D animation, VFX, rigging and shader creation
- Knowledge of game engine fundamentals and limitations
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating premium visual experiences
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D work and workflows
