We’re supporting an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a growing Manufacturing Infrastructure team delivering complex, high-value capital projects across large-scale operational sites.
9 month contract paying £312 a day (will be extended a further year).
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and facilities projects ranging from major new build developments and manufacturing upgrades through to refurbishments, utilities improvements and engineering fit-outs within live production environments.
The role offers exposure to projects from concept and feasibility through to delivery, commissioning and final handover, giving the successful candidate genuine end-to-end project involvement within a highly visible engineering function.
You’ll be joining a fast-paced and collaborative environment where no two projects are the same, working alongside engineering teams, contractors, consultants and senior stakeholders to help shape future manufacturing infrastructure.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting and coordinating infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring delivery against project milestones, budgets, safety requirements and quality expectations. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing pre-construction and project planning activities
- Supporting feasibility studies, cost planning and project development
- Coordinating contractors, consultants and internal engineering teams
- Managing project scope, timelines, risks and change control
- Supporting infrastructure upgrades, facilities projects and manufacturing improvements
- Ensuring compliance with CDM and Health & Safety requirements
- Supporting governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement activities
- Assisting projects through delivery, commissioning and handover
