- 1-3 PQE Solicitor to join its
Banking & Finance team in Belfast.
The Role
- Assisting with a broad range of banking and finance transactions across a variety of sectors and financing arrangements.
- Drafting and reviewing corporate authorisations, security documents, transaction documents and ancillary documentation.
- Conducting company searches and supporting due diligence exercises.
- Managing conditions precedent processes and assisting with transaction completions.
- Reviewing and negotiating a range of finance and commercial documentation, including lending agreements, confidentiality agreements and other day-to-day legal documentation.
- Supporting commercial legal projects and working closely with clients to provide practical legal solutions.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across different legal teams to deliver high-quality client service.
- Supporting and, where appropriate, supervising junior team members.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments.
- Ensuring accurate time recording and compliance with internal procedures.
- The Person
- 1–3 years' PQE with at least six months' experience in Banking & Finance.
- Previous experience in banking and finance transactional work.
- Experience gained within a private practice law firm or in-house legal team is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and professional approach to client service.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn within a team environment.
