Nixon McQuade are working in partnership with a leading Belfast law firm to appoint an experienced Real Estate Partner to join and further strengthen its highly regarded property practice. This is a strategic appointment offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future direction of the firm’s real estate offering. The successful candidate will advise a high quality client base on complex and high value transactions, while contributing to business development, client relationship management, and team leadership.

The Role:

  • Lead and advise on complex, high value real estate transactions across commercial property, development and investments.
  • Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice to a diverse client base including developers, investors, lenders, and corporate occupiers.
  • Manage and grow key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor at senior stakeholder level.
  • Play an active role in business development, including work winning, client pitches, and profile raising.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior and senior members of the real estate team.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth and direction of the real estate practice and the wider firm.

  • Qualified Solicitor with 8+ years PQE in real estate.
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex commercial property transactions.
  • Established client following or strong evidence of business development capability.
  • Commercially astute with a pragmatic, solutions driven approach.

  • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
