Nixon McQuade are working with a Top Tier Law Firm seeking an Employment lawyer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a broad mix of contentious and advisory work, with strong client exposure and real responsibility from the outset. You will advise both employer and individual clients across the full range of employment law matters.

Role

  • Managing your own Employment Tribunal caseload
  • Drafting key documents (ET1s, ET3s, witness statements, schedules of loss)
  • Advising on litigation strategy, risk, and settlement
  • Supporting clients on redundancy processes, TUPE, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues
  • Advising on executive exits, settlement agreements, and workplace disputes
  • You will also contribute to client relationship development and broader business development activities.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister (England & Wales) with 4 PQE in employment law
  • Experience running Employment Tribunal matters
  • Comfortable advising both employers and individuals
  • Commercial, practical, and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage your own workload
