A leading international law firm is seeking a Legal Support Assistant to join its Belfast office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across legal operations, billing, and business support within a highly structured and collaborative environment. This role sits within a central support function, working closely with legal teams and internal departments to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
The Role
- Support the processing of expenses, invoices, and received payments, ensuring accuracy throughout.
- Assist with the billing cycle, including drafting and preparing billing documentation.
- Carry out property and utility searches via relevant online systems.
- Maintain organised electronic filing and assist with document/data room management.
- Update and manage client and contact records within the firm's CRM system.
- Provide support with marketing initiatives, including events and internal communications.
- Coordinate meetings and assist with arranging conferences involving counsel.
- Undertake ad hoc research to support the wider team.
- Input and track time recorded for external consultants.
- Utilise internal platforms to manage workloads and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
The Person
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Outlook (Excel beneficial).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfortable working within a team-oriented environment.
