Nixon McQuade are working with a leading specialist employment law firm seeking an Employment Lawyer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile and complex employment matters, advising senior executives, partners, and employers across a range of sectors. You will gain exposure to sophisticated clients from the outset and play an active role in a collaborative and ambitious team.
Role
- Advising clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
- Managing Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation matters
- Supporting clients through disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and workplace investigation processes
- Advising on executive exits, settlement agreements, restrictive covenants, and workplace disputes
- Assisting with partnership-related matters and disputes
- Leading settlement negotiations and providing strategic employment law advice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to business development initiatives and the continued growth of the practice
Candidate Profile
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1β4 years' PQE in employment law
- Experience handling contentious employment matters and Employment Tribunal claims
- Strong academic background and excellent communication skills
- Commercially aware with a practical and client-focused approach
- Confident working directly with senior stakeholders and sophisticated clients
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Collaborative, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Interest in legal technology and innovative ways of delivering legal services
