Nixon McQuade are working with a well established law firm who are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their growing Employment team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with around 5β8 years' PQE to work on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a diverse client base, including businesses, senior executives, and high net worth individuals.
Role
- Manage a varied caseload of employment law matters.
- Advise clients on issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures, discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, performance management, and employment contracts.
- Handle Employment Tribunal claims from inception to conclusion.
- Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, contracts, policies, and tribunal documentation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to team growth.
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the team where appropriate.
Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 5β8 years' PQE in Employment Law.
- Experience across both contentious and advisory employment matters.
- Strong drafting, advocacy, and client management skills.
- Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Commercially minded with a proactive and collaborative approach.
