We are currently recruiting for a NQ to 2 years’ PQE Solicitor to join a highly regarded and supportive National Law Firm in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a large, collaborative group handling high quality, market leading property work across a broad range of sectors.

Role

  • Acting on the sale and purchase of commercial properties and investment assets across different sectors
  • Handling both landlord and tenant leasing work, including drafting and negotiating leases
  • Supporting asset management matters for a variety of owner-occupier and investor clients
  • Assisting with property development projects from early stages through to completion
  • Supporting real estate finance transactions, working alongside senior lawyers and lenders
  • Gaining exposure to a broad mix of sectors

Candidate Profile

  • NQ - 2 years’ PQE in real estate/property law
  • Some prior experience in commercial property work
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
  • Confidence in handling matters with appropriate supervision and progressing transactions
  • Excellent drafting skills, including experience using and populating precedent documents
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and other firms
  • The ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
