Nixon McQuade are delighted to be working with a leading Belfast law firm as they recruit for a Legal Secretary to join their Healthcare department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy and highly regarded team. This role would suit someone with strong audio typing experience and healthcare law experience is not essential, but would be advantageous.
The Role
- Audio typing and producing legal correspondence and documents
- Formatting and proofreading correspondence, reports and legal documentation
- Managing digital and physical files, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Assisting with case preparation and general document management
- Liaising with clients, colleagues and Partners in a professional manner
- Managing diaries, deadlines and workload priorities
- Providing general administrative support across a busy Healthcare team
- Using case management systems and Microsoft Office packages
The Person
- Previous experience in a legal secretary or professional services support role
- Strong audio typing experience is essential
- Excellent typing, administrative and document production skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
- Experience using case management software would be beneficial
- Professional, confidential and client-focused approach
- Reliable, committed and looking for a long-term position
- Healthcare law experience would be beneficial but is not essential
