Nixon McQuade are working with an international law firm who are looking to hire a Billing Assistant to their growing team.
The Role
Working closely with Revenue Controllers, Partners and Fee Earners, the successful candidate will support the full WIP and billing cycle, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing in line with agreed billing instructions and regulatory requirements. The role offers exposure to both UK and international billing processes within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and finalising invoices
- Issuing bills in line with UK and EU VAT regulations
- Managing WIP, write-offs, revaluations and file closures
- Liaising with Partners, Fee Earners and PAs regarding billing queries
- Applying agreed billing arrangements and exception rates
About You
- Previous billing experience within a professional services environment
- Strong understanding of billing procedures and VAT
- Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
- Confident communicator with a professional approach
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy team
