A well-established Belfast law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy Family & Matrimonial team. You will support fee earners across a range of family law matters including divorce, ancillary relief and child contact cases, providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support within a fast-paced and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence for family and matrimonial matters
- Drafting routine court documents and assisting with case preparation
- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts and third parties
- Managing diaries, appointments and key court dates
- Opening and closing files while maintaining accurate records
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to fee earners throughout the lifecycle of family law cases
The Candidate
- Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally within family or matrimonial law
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven environment
