We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller to join our busy finance team. This is a full-time role suited to a motivated individual with experience working in a fast-paced accounts environment. A one-day-per-week work-from-home option may be available following an initial period.
Key Responsibilities- Credit control duties, including chasing outstanding debts and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Managing the sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
- Assisting with general accounts administration
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks as required
- 2 years experience working in a fast-paced accounts department
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
- Competitive salary of £28k-£30k, depending on experience
