The role
- Daily reconciliation of company bank accounts including processing direct debit and standing order payments.
- Month end reconciliation for all company bank accounts ensuring any aged items are investigated to ascertain why they are still outstanding.
- Registering customer direct debit mandates with the appropriate banks and arranging monthly collections of monies due.
- Coding Manual Invoices for authorisation by the Management Accountant, registering the Invoices on MCS-financials and distribution of the Invoices for authorisation.
- Reconciliation of company credit card transactions ensuring that appropriate receipts are received and accounted for correctly.
- Ensuring Accounts Payable processing deadlines are met in order to meet Management Accounts deadlines.
- Producing payment runs for suppliers and other ad-hoc payments.
- General housekeeping of supplier accounts including reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Reviewing aged supplier invoice queries and communicate with Supplier to arrange for them to be resolved or cleared from our system.
- Daily closeouts of Invoices; Credit Notes and Purchase Order distributions from MCS-rm to MCS-financials.
- Assistance within Credit Control including contacting customers for collection of debt either verbally or in writing.
- Providing cover for Accounts Administrators and Payroll Co-ordinator when absent or on holiday.
- Analysing general ledger accounts at the request of the Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant.
