A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join their friendly and supportive cashiering team based at their Head Office in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier, or someone looking to further develop their legal finance career, within a busy and rewarding environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of client and office account transactions while maintaining compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulations.
Working closely with fee earners and support staff across the firm, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Processing client and office account transactions in accordance with SRA Accounts Rules
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Processing payments, receipts, and account transfers
- Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering procedures
- Liaising with fee earners and support staff to resolve financial queries
- Supporting the smooth running of the cashiering function
- Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
- Assisting with day-to-day legal accounts administration
- Previous Legal Cashier experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and legal cashiering procedures would be beneficial
- Experience using legal accounts software would be advantageous
