Overview
NC Associates are partnering with a growing accountancy practice in Wrexham to recruit a qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a client portfolio while developing their advisory, leadership, and relationship management skills. Working closely with senior leadership, you will become a key point of contact for clients while supporting the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of SME clients
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax, personal tax, VAT, and CIS returns
- Leading client meetings and providing ongoing advice and support
- Preparing management accounts, forecasts, and business reports
- Supporting clients with cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks
- Reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
- Identifying opportunities to add value through advisory services
Experience Required
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Previous experience within accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and UK tax compliance
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff would be advantageous
