NC Associates are partnering with a growing accountancy practice in Wrexham to recruit a qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a client portfolio while developing their advisory, leadership, and relationship management skills. Working closely with senior leadership, you will become a key point of contact for clients while supporting the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of SME clients
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax, personal tax, VAT, and CIS returns
  • Leading client meetings and providing ongoing advice and support
  • Preparing management accounts, forecasts, and business reports
  • Supporting clients with cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks
  • Reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
  • Identifying opportunities to add value through advisory services
Experience Required
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Previous experience within accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and UK tax compliance
  • Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff would be advantageous
