Role Overview
NC Associates are working with a market leading property organisation based in South Manchester who are looking to recruit an experienced Billing – Utilities Services Manager to provide day-to-day leadership and technical support to the Billing – Utilities Services Coordinators within the bureau function. Reporting to the Utilities Services Manager, this role ensures billing, recharges, and data processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned to the organisations operational and carbon reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Utilities Services Coordinators, ensuring workloads and priorities are managed effectively.
- Review billing, recharges, and reconciliation outputs prior to submission to Finance.
- Coordinate daily issue resolution with suppliers and internal teams.
- Maintain accuracy of data within the Utilities Management System (UMS).
- Support onboarding of new assets and metering setup.
- Develop process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure capability growth.
- Act as deputy for the Utilities Services Manager when required.
Essential Experience Required
- 3–5 years in utilities operations, billing, or energy data management.
- Experience of working within the Utilities, Energy, Facilities Management Sector (Essential).
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team.
- Understanding of supplier billing and recharge mechanisms.
- Competent with data and utilities systems (UMS, Excel, or similar).
