NC Associates are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a client based in Skelmersdale. As the Accounts Assistant you will assist in the day to day smooth running of the accounts department. You’ll already have strong experience in accounts and will be working within a small team.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices on to Sage 50
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing payment run at month end
- Bank reconciliation
- Credit card reconciliation
- Month end / Year end close
- VAT returns
- Monthly payroll, entering time sheets, SSP, SMP, processing payroll, HMRC submission, pension submission, posting journals – dealing with enquiries from employees
Accounts Assistant Experience Required:
- Experience using Sage 50 Payroll – desirable
- Ability to manage a varied workload
- Exceptional communication skills
