Accounts Assistant Role Overview
NC Associates are recruiting an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client based in Northwich. This role is vital in managing financial records and supporting their accounting processes to ensure smooth operations. As the Accounts Assistant you will be reporting directly into the Finance Manager.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices daily
- Raise and issue customer invoices
- Posting customer receipts and supplier payments
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Resolving customer and supplier queries
- Preparation of VAT Returns
- Processing weekly & monthly payroll
Accounts Assistant Experience Required
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
- Sage 50 – Desirable
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Payroll experience would be beneficial
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage relationships
- Strong organisational and communication skills
