NC Associates are working in partnership with a well-established Insurance Broker based in Cholmondeley to recruit a
Trainee Account Handler . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career rather than just another job.

You’ll receive full training from an experienced team, learning all aspects of commercial insurance while developing the skills needed to become a successful Account Handler.
- Trainee Account Handler Responsibilities
- Learning how to manage commercial insurance policies from quotation through to renewal
- Supporting experienced Account Handlers and Account Executives with day-to-day client administration
- Acting as a professional first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Building positive relationships with clients by delivering excellent customer service
- Preparing quotations, policy documentation and renewals following full training
- Updating and maintaining accurate client records using the Acturis system
- Assisting with policy amendments and general insurance administration
- Gathering customer information to ensure appropriate insurance cover is arranged
- Learning FCA regulations and ensuring compliance with company procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of customer communications and documentation
- Supporting the wider office with general administration and team tasks
- Trainee Account Handler Experience Required
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or office-based role
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
