Overview:
NC Associates are working with a growing energy brokerage company that supports businesses across the UK with their utility procurement and management. Operating in a fast-paced and highly regulated sector, the company prides itself on accuracy, compliance, and delivering a professional service to both clients and suppliers. As a phone-based energy consultant, your primary role is to develop strategies that help companies optimise energy use for cost efficiency and sustainability. You will consult directly with business owners and managers, promoting the company’s products and services to mid-market businesses through effective phone engagements or face-to-face meetings. You will build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective long-term energy portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyse current energy consumption.
- Negotiate and present new procurement contracts for their energy usage.
- Develop actionable energy-saving solutions with feasibility and cost-benefit analyses.
- Present ideas clearly to clients over the phone.
- Address questions from senior employees confidently.
- Advocate for optimal energy strategies and influence decision-makers.
- Meet and exceed targets by expanding the client base and increasing revenue.
