Our established growing client based in Warrington are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join the growing team. This exciting opportunity is now live as they have gone through real growth and expansion over the last few years. As a result, they need a qualified Accountant to join as a Finance Business Partner who can add value, contribute commercially and act as the conduit between finance and operations within the business supporting the MD and Ops Director. You will get involved in various projects which will give you the commercial exposure most Accountants crave for. This is a hands-on role which requires an Accountant to bring in the finance function from external Accountants.
Finance Business Partner Responsibilities include:
- Support the preparation and completion of Management Accounts including full P&L commentary.
- Ability to review business performance and provide commentary against budgets.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis, investigate and resolve any variances on a timely basis.
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Bring in and develop a finance team.
- Develop strong working relationships with all areas of the business.
- Assist in year-end audit.
- Adhere to reporting deadlines.
- Ad hoc projects such as system implementations.
Finance Business Partner Experience Required:
- Strong qualified accountant already or newly qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
- Experience of working within a SME organisation is essential.
- Private equity experience would be desirable.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all outputs.
- Excellent excel and wider IT skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proactive and resilient self-starter, a team player, passionate and motivated with the ability to inspire others around them.
