About Nivoda

Nivoda is a rapidly scaling global B2B diamond and gemstone marketplace connecting jewellery retailers with competitive, high-quality suppliers worldwide. Processing $300M+ in annual transactions and operating across multiple regions, Nivoda is transforming a $350B industry that has historically been slow to modernise.

Our platform gives businesses of all sizes, from independent jewellers to major retail chains access to the world's best diamond and gemstone inventory, without the traditional barriers of capital, geography, or information asymmetry.

Our Mission

Diamond and gemstone trading has long been plagued by inefficiency, opacity, and exclusivity. Nivoda was built to change that - to democratise access and empower every business, regardless of size or location, to buy and sell with confidence. Independent jewellers are at the heart of this mission. They deserve the same access to quality, pricing, and selection as the biggest players in the industry. That's exactly what we give them.

The Team

Our Sales team is the engine that brings Nivoda's mission to life. We're a high-energy, globally distributed group that moves fast, owns outcomes, and genuinely cares about the success of every jewellery business we work with. This is a team that thrives on commercial creativity, deep customer relationships, and relentless execution and we're growing fast.

About the Role

You take a booked demo and turn it into a live, transacting Nivoda customer. That means running a compelling demo of the marketplace, navigating commercial negotiation, closing the contract, shepherding the customer through KYC/onboarding compliance, and owning the account through its first 90 days — first search, first order, first reorder.

This is not a pure "close and toss" role. The first 90 days are where marketplace customers form habits or churn silently, so you are accountable for activation, not just signature. You need to understand how two-sided marketplaces work — liquidity, supply trust, transaction mechanics — and ideally how the jewellery trade buys.

What will you be doing?

  • Run discovery-led demos that map Nivoda's marketplace to the retailer's actual buying workflow.
  • Manage the deal: proposal, commercial terms, objection handling, multi-stakeholder buy-in, close.
  • Drive KYC and compliance to completion without letting momentum die — chase documents, unblock friction.
  • Own days 0–90: get the customer searching, quoting, and placing first orders; set usage habits early.
  • Coordinate with SDRs on handoff quality and with AMs on a clean day-90 transition (account context, buying patterns, risks).
  • Forecast accurately and keep pipeline stages honest.

What do we need from you?

  • 3–6 years closing experience, with background in a marketplace (B2B or transactional B2C — think platforms where you sold liquidity and trust, not just software) or in the jewellery/diamond industry with commercial exposure.
  • You understand marketplace dynamics: why the first transaction matters more than the contract, how supply breadth wins deals, what makes buyers switch procurement behaviour.
  • Strong demo craft: you sell workflows and outcomes, not feature tours.
  • Comfortable with operational follow-through — KYC, onboarding, activation — because signature is the midpoint, not the finish line.
  • Structured negotiator; calm with pushback on pricing and terms.
  • Native or professional proficiency in English and German is required for this role.
