- Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 17:00
- Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 17:30

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team. You will be responsible for leading and developing the end-to-end supply chain within the manufacturing operation, driving efficiency, performance, and continuous improvement. You will combine the management of the existing purchasing team with a tireless, enthusiastic and focused approach to hands-on day-to-day negotiations with a global supply chain in a fast-moving and fluid environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to step into a strategic leadership role with significant operational influence.
Key Responsibilities
- As an integral part of the operational side of the business, you will be directly responsible for the successful formulation and implementation of purchasing processes to ensure:
- The timely, accurate and effective running and development of the MRP system
- The effective implementation and maintenance of Vendor Schedules
- The effective management of a Global Supply Chain
- The ongoing management and development of existing Supply Contracts
- The ongoing management and development of negotiated Supply Chain Solutions
- MPV targets are set and achieved
- The timely annual review of all standards costs
- Reporting on key KPIs including inventory turns, forecast accuracy, OTIF, and cost-to-serve
- Leading weekly planning meetings and providing insights to senior management
- The effective management of stores within the company’s manufacturing facility to drive operational efficiency
You will have proven experience in a senior procurement role within a manufacturing or factory environment, along with strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, production planning, and logistics.
At least 5 years’ experience in a senior procurement role including successful formulation and implementation of procurement strategies and supply contracts with quantifiable results. Have the seniority and presence to negotiate at the highest level. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferably experience within an electronic, electrical/electro-mechanical engineering environment. Be computer literate with preference being given to those with MRP experience and/or a CIPS qualification. Experience with advanced analytics or AI-enabled supply chain tools (e.g., forecasting, inventory optimisation).
