We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our small team as a Van Driver. This role involves early 05.00Hrs starts, delivering Liquid Nitrogen efficiently and safely to mainly London and the home counties, but at times further afield. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and want to progress in their career. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be encouraged to go on to train as an ADR Tanker driver and learn all aspects of the business.
Duties:
- To safely drive a 3.5 ton GVW van adhering to all road safety and company policies.
- Filling Liquid Nitrogen tanks (including some lifting when necessary).
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Follow Health and Safety protocols at all times.
- Keep their allocated vehicle clean and tidy.
- Refilling of vehicle at the end of your shift.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Strong knowledge of London with excellent driving skills.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid Driving Licence with a clean record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- This role is suitable for individuals committed to delivering a high quality service while maintaining safety standards.
- Applicants must be a car owner (due to our location), be prepared to work additional hours (at enhanced overtime rates) for the needs of the business, be flexible, reliable, organised, proactive, and capable of handling physical tasks associated with the position.
