We are working with a well-established legal practice seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its growing property team in Liverpool.

The Role

This is a full-time, office-based position based in Liverpool.

You will be responsible for independently managing a residential and/or commercial conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to client care .

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold property transactions from instruction through to post-completion.
  • Preparing, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documentation.
  • Conducting title investigations, reviewing search results and identifying any legal issues.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other legal professionals to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
  • Preparing reports on title, completion statements and all associated documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and lender requirements.
  • Providing clear, timely updates to clients while delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Managing competing priorities and meeting key transaction deadlines.
  • Contributing to the ongoing improvement of internal processes and supporting a collaborative team cult

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Proven experience managing your own conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial property transactions, including freehold and leasehold matters.
  • A solid understanding of Land Registry procedures, lender requirements and current conveyancing regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
  • Previous experience within a law firm or legal practice.
  • Relevant legal qualifications such as CILEX, SQE or equivalent practical experience would be advantageous but are not essential.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practice.
