Overview of Sales

These teams ensure that we achieve excellence throughout our sales operations in the UK and deliver on our customer promises. Our teams of experts continually monitor activity and manage our sales and service delivery, to ensure that we are maximising our performance. We work hand in hand with our dealers to deliver success – through supporting new product tours, VIP promotional activities, and our dealer excellence programme – we create and sustain the Nissan marketplace of the future.

Overall Purpose of Role

The primary function of this role is to ensure new vehicle supply is optimised to deliver Nissan’s Customer First objectives. Working within the Supply Planning and Distribution team, this role focuses on supporting the Nissan Dealer Network and liaison with our logistics partners (NDS) to ensure the smooth transition of new vehicle orders through the journey from order placement to production, delivery and vehicle registration.

The team has a significant focus on development of improved dealer processes and programmes, simplification and automation of reporting, with opportunities to support both Supply and Distribution teams with a variety of development projects.

This role provides fantastic opportunities to grow technical and operational skills, business acumen and commercial awareness due to the pivotal role supply and distribution has in achieving company objectives (volume, market share, customer satisfaction). A cross-functional mindset and an open communication style are essential, alongside strong organisation and data analysis skills.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports relating to new vehicle order bank and deliveries.
  • Define, enhance and implement processes to ensure continued improvement of matching supply to customer orders.
  • Owner of several critical development projects, involving automation of Distribution reporting utilising Tableau and Office 365 (inc. Power BI/Query and Power Automate), and improvement of Dealer facing stock reporting
  • Dealer Stocking Programme management and development of supporting reports

Operational support for:

  • Management of new vehicle orders in pipeline and Nissan Distribution Services (NDS)
  • Management of orders in the dealer network – logistics, order swaps & error checks.
  • Provide ordering, logistics and registration support to dealer network
  • Support for logistics related model activity including new model launches, technical holds and vehicle enhancement.

Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, with proven experience working with Tableau and Office 365 development tools (Power BI/ Power Automate/ Power Query)
