Is The Opportunity?
The Nisos Intelligence Team, also known as the Pandion Team, produces Nisos’ core intelligence products. We are hiring for our Digital Protection Specialist role, which specializes in our Executive Protection service line. Specialists are capable problem-solvers and team players who are developing their investigative, analytical, and writing skills from basic to intermediate. They will work as part of a team to deliver projects.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and triage alerts from Ascend, Nisos’ proprietary investigative platform, and conduct open-source research to identify potential client exposure of personally identifiable information (PII) and other online threats.
- Review content and execute timely removal of PII in accordance with internal protocols and client requirements.
- Escalate complex or ambiguous alerts to team lead and contribute to resolution efforts as needed.
- Collaborate closely with team lead to ensure consistent standards and process adherence.
- Communicate and coordinate with client success team members to confirm actions taken and provide updates as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of findings, actions, and outcomes.
- Apply foundational knowledge of the digital landscape and cybersecurity best practices to identify risks and protect sensitive data.
- Demonstrate initiative and self-sufficiency in managing workload and following through on tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training to ensure quality and standards, and to enhance your skills.
- Monitor social media and other sources for threats to Nisos clients.
- Author risk assessment reports that adhere to Nisos analytic tradecraft and style guidance.
What You Bring
- Working towards your Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity, online data privacy, and intelligence principles.
- Familiarity with digital platforms, online forums, and search tools.
- Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes meticulously.
- Ability to work on routine tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of OSINT collection and analysis methodologies.
- An understanding of challenging issues, ranging from geopolitical to cyber.
- Basic skills in data collection, management, and analysis.
