Overview
Nisbets Limited are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Finance team at 4th Way and lead a customer-centric team focused on delivering seamless onboarding and robust credit and risk management. This role will be based at our 4th Way office, with flexibility to work from home as part of a hybrid working pattern following an initial training period.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Oversee end-to-end customer onboarding including KYC, credit checks, and account setup.
- Maintain the integrity of customer master data across systems (Maginus and Iris), implementing controls for validation and change requests.
- Champion risk management and fraud prevention within the team, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Sales, Credit, Legal, and IT to resolve onboarding blockers and enhance system integration.
- Produce monthly and ad-hoc reporting to monitor performance and SLA adherence.
- Identify and implement process improvements using Lean methodologies.
- Support audit readiness and escalate high-risk accounts as needed.
Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in customer onboarding, data management, or operations, ideally within catering, hospitality, or a related industry.
- 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Preferred qualifications: ICM, AAT, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of credit risk, fraud prevention, and data governance.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in ERP, CRM, and data management systems.
- Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to cross-functional working
