Nisbets Limited are currently recruiting for a Commercial Executive to join our Commercial team, supporting the delivery of key commercial activities across bids and tenders, customer onboarding, pricing, contracts, and EDI management. As a Commercial Executive at Nisbets, you will play an important role in helping to drive commercial success by ensuring processes are completed accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in a commercial environment. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and colleagues across the business to support new and existing customer accounts, manage commercial data, and contribute to proposals that showcase Nisbets' value proposition. The role is fast-paced and varied, requiring excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach. You will have the opportunity to develop your commercial knowledge while building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role will be based at our Access 18 office, with flexibility to work from home as part of a hybrid working pattern following a period of training. Key Accountabilities Support the onboarding of new customers and assist with ongoing support for existing customer accounts. Work closely with the Commercial Manager to create professional proposals, presentations, and content that clearly articulates the Nisbets value proposition. Manage day-to-day EDI portal activities accurately and efficiently to support customer requirements and payment processes. Collaborate with internal departments to identify and resolve customer and commercial queries. Support commercial coding and pricing activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Assist with bids, tenders, contracts, and other commercial projects as required. Provide administrative and commercial support across the wider Commercial team. Maintain accurate commercial records and data to support business decision-making. Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and professional written communications. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving and stakeholder management. Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Confidence analysing pricing and margin data to support commercial decision-making. Good Microsoft Excel skills, including data entry, formatting, formulas, sorting, and filtering. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced commercial environment. Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and build a career within a commercial function.
