We are looking for a dedicated and efficient QA Analyst to join a team of multi-skilled digital professionals. Due to the nature of the role, we can only accept applicants who are already in the UK and can commute long-term 3 days a week to our Avonmouth Office. This will be a hybrid role after a training period, with 2 days working from home.

Our ideal candidate has at least 3 years of testing experience within an Agile, SCRUM, or DevOps environment, with a strong understanding of TDD, BDD, or XP methodologies. They should have a determined approach to identifying defects, delivering quality products, and ensuring an excellent user experience. The candidate will be highly competent in their current QA career, with aspirations to further develop and improve processes by deploying best practices.

The role involves manual testing, maintaining high standards for all deliveries, fostering a culture of quality, and encouraging team members to consider quality at all stages. The QA Analyst will be responsible for detecting bugs and errors, effectively managing and communicating issues, creating and executing test documentation, performing exploratory testing, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders. Staying up-to-date with market trends to apply findings and enhance team knowledge is also essential.

Capabilities, Skills, and Experience Required
  • Over 3 years of experience with Agile delivery (SCRUM and DevOps)
  • ISEB, ISTQB qualification or equivalent
  • Strong skills in writing and managing test documentation and explaining complex issues
  • Experience with Selenium, Gherkin, and familiarity with BDD, TDD, XP methodologies
  • Interest in learning automated testing tools
  • Detailed knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Optional but beneficial: Jira, Hybris, Virtuoso, Cucumber, FitNesse, Selenium, SpecFlow, Quicktest Pro
