We are seeking an experienced and reliable LWB Sprinter and Luton Driver to join our team based in Slough. This role involves UK deliveries (including airport work) and occasional European travel. This is not a multi-drop parcel role; we are looking for someone experienced in freight transport who understands time-sensitive deliveries and professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport freight to designated locations
- Complete timely pickups and deliveries according to schedules
- Airport collections and deliveries
- European trips when required
- Check labels, manifests, and delivery documentation
- Load and offload goods from vehicles
- Plan routes effectively using own initiative
- Track working hours and expenses accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (clean driving record essential)
- Proven experience driving LWB Sprinter and Luton vans
- Experience in freight transport (non multi-drop)
- Must live locally to Slough
- Flexible with working hours (day/night/weekend/overtime)
- Strong time-management and communication skills
- Good knowledge of London routes, airports, and GPS navigation
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry packages
