The day to day activities will be welding for thick plate.
Responsibilities
- Welding for thick plate as required by the job.
Pay, Shifts and Perks
- Day Shift
Hours: 39 hour week
06:45 – 15:15 Monday to Thursday
06:45 – 14:15 Friday
Pay
- Basic (permanent): £17.36 per hour
- OT1: £26.04 per hour
- Sunday/Bank holiday: £34.72 per hour
Welding Test
- Initial test will involve welding a 25mm thick plate
- Single Sided TIG root, 2nd and 3rd pass
- Welding the test piece in the down hand position half way full with MAG
- Welding the test piece in the vertical up position the remainder of the way with FCAW
Role Requirements
- 2 work references
- A solid work history in the relevant role
- Excellent time keeping and attendance
