Role

The day to day activities will be welding for thick plate.

Responsibilities

  • Welding for thick plate as required by the job.

Pay, Shifts and Perks

  • Day Shift

Hours: 39 hour week

06:45 – 15:15 Monday to Thursday

06:45 – 14:15 Friday

Pay

  • Basic (permanent): £17.36 per hour
  • OT1: £26.04 per hour
  • Sunday/Bank holiday: £34.72 per hour

Welding Test

  • Initial test will involve welding a 25mm thick plate
  • Single Sided TIG root, 2nd and 3rd pass
  • Welding the test piece in the down hand position half way full with MAG
  • Welding the test piece in the vertical up position the remainder of the way with FCAW

Role Requirements

  • 2 work references
  • A solid work history in the relevant role
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance
