Project Manager - Biopharma CAPEX

Project Manager to lead, coordinate and deliver CAPEX project onsite supporting and optimizing throughout.

  • Job Purpose
  • Execute project plans, budgets, timelines and resource allocations for large-scale Biopharma CAPEX projects.
  • Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of all phases.
  • Proactive drive Safety and Quality focus throughout project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Primary point of contact for internal teams, contractors, technical consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead / motivate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Ensure effective communication / collaboration between engineering, procurement, and quality assurance.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Manage project budgets, ensure cost control and adherence to financial target.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to the team.
  • Enforce compliance with all relevant laws, policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and update stakeholders on potential issues.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years in the Life Science/Biotech industry, 3+ years specifically in Project Management.
  • Technical Degree or Master's in a relevant field.
  • Experience in Portfolio Resource Management and Business Case Development.
  • Strong influencing skills, ability to resolve conflicts, and lead multinational teams.
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement and problem solving in manufacturing environments.
  • Expertise in use of Smartsheets, MS Project, and Trackwise (or other Change Control systems)
