Job Purpose
- Execute project plans, budgets, timelines and resource allocations for large-scale Biopharma CAPEX projects.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of all phases.
- Proactive drive Safety and Quality focus throughout project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Primary point of contact for internal teams, contractors, technical consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead / motivate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Ensure effective communication / collaboration between engineering, procurement, and quality assurance.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Manage project budgets, ensure cost control and adherence to financial target.
- Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for stakeholders and senior management.
- Mentor and provide guidance to the team.
- Enforce compliance with all relevant laws, policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and update stakeholders on potential issues.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years in the Life Science/Biotech industry, 3+ years specifically in Project Management.
- Technical Degree or Master's in a relevant field.
- Experience in Portfolio Resource Management and Business Case Development.
- Strong influencing skills, ability to resolve conflicts, and lead multinational teams.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement and problem solving in manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in use of Smartsheets, MS Project, and Trackwise (or other Change Control systems).
