This role sits within the Global Marketing Group and works in close collaboration with the Chemicals Business and its subsidiaries to shape and deliver new growth initiatives. We are seeking a commercially minded, technical, and highly motivated self-starter with a genuine passion for business growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate effectively within a diverse, multicultural organisation, applying strong business acumen to define growth initiatives and manage structured plans based on technical needs to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities within assigned advanced materials and chemicals markets.
  • Generate and champion new business ideas that support sustainable business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with prospective customer technical and management teams to stay informed of future product and technology development cycles.
  • Formulate robust internal and external proposals based on the company’s technical capabilities, market needs, and overall business strategy.
  • Support product launches and market entry activities, working across technical, commercial, and channel partners in this broad and cross-functional role.
  • Drive strategic customer and partner relationships, securing early-stage technology adoption, design-ins, and long-term collaboration aligned with Nippon Kayaku future product and application roadmaps.

Qualifications:

  • Business or Technical Degree or equivalent commercial experience and knowledge.
  • Commercial and/or technical experience in any of the following disciplines is desired: Polarizers, Retarders and optical films; Electronic Materials/Semiconductors, CFRP materials and Polymers, Display Technologies.
  • 7+ years B2B related sales or technical experience.
  • Fluent in Written and Spoken English.
  • Ability to travel within Europe ~25-30%. Some global travel will be required.
  • Remote/Home Office Position: Germany or United Kingdom, or office based in Frankfurt, Germany.
