We are looking for two Production Technicians to join our team based in Dyce, Aberdeen (AB21 0GP). This is an onshore position offering the opportunity to work within a busy production environment, supporting the safe and efficient manufacture of industrial gases and related products.
The successful candidates will be proactive, safety-conscious individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. You will play a key role in maintaining production operations, managing stock levels, operating plant equipment, and ensuring compliance with all company safety, environmental, and quality standards

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Use company IT systems to access, record, and maintain operational information.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and take responsibility for personal safety at all times.
  • Wear the required PPE and encourage compliance from colleagues and visitors.
  • Promote safe working practices, good housekeeping, and adherence to site procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Implement control measures identified through Task Based Risk Assessments.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and communicate recommendations to Supervisors.
  • Ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and integrity of company assets and equipment.
  • Comply with and actively promote the Company's Business Management System, including Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical knowledge of gas manufacturing processes, plant operations, safety requirements, and production methods.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of liquids and other production materials.
  • Accurately manage and maintain traceable stock records using company computer systems.
  • Maximise production efficiency and optimise gaseous output relative to liquid usage.
  • Maintain stock levels of industrial gases to meet customer demand and call-off requirements.
  • Ensure adequate stocks of consumables required for production activities.
  • Provide a professional and courteous service when interacting with customers, suppliers, and visiting drivers.
