For the AIR Region, we are looking for an IT Local Services Specialist. The person in this function will be responsible for the First and Second line IT support for countries UK and Ireland.
The function will cover:
- First line support of end-users in the AIR region, through phone and ServiceNow (ITSM profile)
- Provisioning and supporting end-users with installation, preparation, decommissioning of all IT equipment (Laptops, Desktops, Mobile devices, etc.)
- Support IT onboarding and offboarding process
- Second line support for more advanced issues regarding Nippon Gases Hardware, Equipment, Software and Applications
- Perform on-site visits to all locations in UK and Ireland to:
- Perform maintenance and operational actions
- Manage the WAN / Telecom connections
- Manage the local network, switches and access points
- Manage the local network racks, cabling and connectivity
- Keep the local locations ISO ready and up-to-date
- Keep a European alignment to assure all Nippon Gases IT standards are respected and followed
The position will be integrated into the European Local Services Team and will also require regular alignment with the other teams in the other regions. Base location will be Immingham, UK.
