What are we looking for? We are strengthening our UK sales team and are seeking a Sales Executive with extensive experience in Air, Sea and Road Freight sales. This is a field sales role covering the Midlands or London and surrounding areas.
You will drive and generate new business development by selling NX Air, Sea, Road, and Warehousing products, while building strong relationships with new and existing customers to maximise customer satisfaction and revenue. You should be a resilient, determined salesperson experienced in targeting, researching, and hunting new business leads and managing the sales process to order and delivery.

Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new opportunities through telemarketing, direct mail, and client visits to qualify and develop prospects
- Build a strong portfolio of accounts from targeted business development and existing networks
- Cold call and schedule regular meetings with prospects and established clients, providing a consultative service including up selling to existing clients
- Promote Nippon products and services via presentations and demonstrations
- Work with the UK sales team to plan and implement sales strategies to increase profitability
- Act as initial contact for commercial enquiries, escalations, and queries
- Submit regular budgets, opportunity pipelines, and weekly activity reports using Salesforce
- Identify ways to improve services and quality to foster continued business development and customer longevity
- Create Standard Operating Procedures with operational departments to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts
- Manage client base in nominated areas and resolve early-stage operational and financial issues with the operations team
