Job Title: Sales Executive

What are we looking for?
We are strengthening our sales team across the UK and seek a Sales Executive with extensive experience in Air, Sea and Road Freight sales. This is a field sales role covering either the Midlands or London and the surrounding areas. You will drive new business development by selling NX Air, Sea, Road, and Warehousing product portfolios while building strong relationships with new and existing customers to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue. The successful candidate will be a resilient, determined salesperson with experience in targeting, researching, and pursuing new business leads and managing the sales process through to order and delivery.
You will receive an excellent annual salary with a generous sales incentive scheme, car allowance, and access to the NX benefits package, with opportunities to progress within the company, including internationally.

What will you do?
- Prospect and develop new opportunities through methods such as telemarketing, direct mail, and client visits to qualify and develop prospects
- Build a strong portfolio of accounts from targeted business development and existing client networks
- Cold call and schedule regular meetings (under KPI management) with prospects and established clients, providing a consultative service tailored to their needs and upselling where appropriate
- Promote Nippon products and services through presentations and demonstrations
- Collaborate with the UK sales team to plan and execute sales strategies to increase personal and group profitability
- Serve as the initial point of contact for commercial customer enquiries, escalations and queries
- Submit regular personal budgets, opportunity pipelines and weekly activity reports using tools such as Salesforce
- Identify ways to improve services and quality to encourage continued business development and customer longevity
- Create Standard Operating Procedures with operational departments to ensure seamless introduction of new accounts
- Manage client bases in nominated areas and resolve early stage operational and financial issues in collaboration with operations
