Senior Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various accounting disciplines, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, including variance analyse, accruals and prepayments etc
• Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping principles and general ledger accounting procedures.
• Tax calculation including capital allowance, corporation tax, deferred tax, capital gain tax and personal tax.
• VAT returns review and submission under MTD
• Preparation of personal tax returns and submitting to HMRC
• Processing payroll on a variety of runs – weekly, fortnightly & monthly
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
