An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join the National Institute of Teaching within our ECT faculty team. This role is pivotal in supporting our ECF Programme Managers, who are responsible for the proactive and effective planning, execution, and administration of the ECF nationally and across our campuses.

About the Role
As an ECT Faculty Administrator, you will report to the ECF Manager and work closely with counterparts in our regions to ensure that our ECT provision is well supported. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our ECF programme and work in close collaboration with colleagues nationally to continuously improve the quality of teacher development.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record of providing administrative support, ideally in an education setting, who enjoys regular contact with participants and partners. Great communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is being proactive and self-motivated, with a positive approach to work.

Key Responsibilities
- To be a key point of contact for our programme participants and support them with responses around programmelogisticsand administration.
- To ensure our digital Learning Management System (LMS) is up to date and that all participants have relevant access.
- To administrate participant and partner data and ensure this is audited and up to date regularly.
- To draft and post programmes updatesfor our partners and colleagues.
- To set up and help prepare key events for programmes, including the drafting of materials, venue booking, etc.
- To support theHead of ECT, ECTmanagers and coordinatorwith all other administrative efforts around the ECTprogrammes. This might include taskslike:helping to organise key meetings with our Associate Collegesor hands-on support with marketingor programmesupport.
- To support team coordination and team building activities.
- To provide diary management and PA support asrequired.
- Strong administrative experience
- A commitment to the aims of the National Institute of Teaching
- An interest in the education sector and a belief in the value of teachers and school leaders
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office software packages, such as Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as search engines and online databases
- A pro-active approach that focuses on solutions
- Highly proficient in managing and monitoring processes which drive successful reporting
- A sensitivity to the requirements of different audiences and an ability to adapt style appropriately
- A track recordof, or the potential to co-ordinate key events or programmes (ideally in the education sector)
- Previous experience of working in a remote and geographically distributed team.
- Previous experience in the education sector
- Experience of using management information systems and/or various online learning environments

Contract: Temporary to 31st December 2026, Full Time
Salary: £28,598 per annum plus London weighting if applicable + benefits
