As our brands scale globally — and particularly across EMEA — social isn't a support channel, it's where discovery, conversation, and demand are created. We're building a social creative engine designed to move at the speed of culture across every market we operate in, and we need a creative leader whose work people already know, recognize, or can point to.
Why This Role Matters
Social-first creative at SharkNinja is built to be felt, shared, and acted on rather than passively watched. Across EMEA, our opportunity is enormous — and we need someone who's already run creative at this scale, with a body of work that shows it: big productions, talent, and a large distributed team of creators, not a solo operator. Based in France, the Creative Strategy Director is the creative owner for SharkNinja brands on social across EMEA markets — starting with the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and expanding beyond. This role is embedded within the Global Social Creative team, working hand in hand with global creative leads to ensure every market's social presence is original, culturally relevant, and best-in-class. This is a senior creative leadership role for someone with a proven track record — one they can show, not just describe — spanning both influencer/creator-led work and organic brand content. Someone who knows how to turn cultural fluency into concepts that travel, who has run large-scale productions involving talent and creators, and who can lead, guide, and scale a sizable cross-regional creative team through strong process rather than just personal output.
What You'll Do
- Own Social-First Creative for SharkNinja Brands Across EMEA: Serve as the creative lead and tastemaker for SharkNinja brands (Shark and Ninja) on social across EMEA — with primary focus on the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain — in tight collaboration with the Global Social Creative team and VP, Social Creative. Develop concepts that span both influencer/creator-led and organic content, rooted in cultural relevance, for new and existing products across organic, paid, and influencer/creator channels. Ensure creative work is designed to travel across markets and platforms — through sharing, remixing, and conversation — while respecting local cultural nuance.
- Run Large-Scale Productions and Talent Collaborations: Lead and direct large-scale social productions involving talent, creators, and external partners — from concept through execution — across multiple EMEA markets simultaneously. Direct shoots and productions both virtually and in-person, ranging from lo-fi creator content to high-production, talent-driven moments. Build the relationships and processes needed to work effectively with talent, agencies, and creators at scale.
- Lead and Empower a Large, Cross-Regional Creator Team: Provide clear creative direction, feedback, and guidance to a large team of creators spanning multiple EMEA markets — building the frameworks and processes that let the team move fast and consistently without needing everything routed through one person. Set standards and playbooks that empower local and regional creators to make strong creative decisions independently, while staying aligned to brand and cultural relevance. Act as the creative connective tissue between global strategy, local market needs, and a distributed creator network.
- Partner Across Teams and Markets: Work hand-in-hand with the Global Social Creative team, Brand, Social Strategy, Influencer, and Media partners to ensure EMEA social creative is aligned with global brand vision while being locally excellent. Shape creator and influencer creative across EMEA markets by providing strong concepts, direction, and feedback at scale.
- Raise the Creative Bar: Push for work that is culturally fluent, platform-native, and unmistakably social-first across each EMEA market. Identify what's working, what's stale, and where each market's brand presence should experiment next. Build and evolve the creative playbooks, guidance, and processes that scale great work across a large, distributed team — ensuring EMEA learnings feed back into global creative strategy.
What Success Looks Like
- Social content across EMEA markets that earns engagement because it's worth engaging with.
- A creative team, spanning influencer and organic work across regions, operating with clear guidance and shared process — not needing constant hands-on direction.
- Large-scale productions with talent that land on time, on brand, and on culture across multiple markets at once.
- Strong partnership with the Global Social Creative team, local studios, and creators that results in consistent, high-quality output across markets.
Who You Are
- 8+ years of experience in social-first creative, ideally spanning both influencer/creator-led and organic content, with multi-market or international experience — and a body of work that demonstrates it.
- Recognized work in market: campaigns, creator collaborations, or productions that have run, been seen, and driven results you can speak to in detail.
- A proven track record running large-scale social productions involving talent and creators — not just directing small shoots.
- Experience leading or guiding a large, distributed creative team, with the ability to build process and standards that empower others rather than centralizing all creative decisions.
- Fluent in internet culture, platforms, and formats across EMEA — you understand what works in different markets and why, and your own work reflects it.
- Comfortable directing talent and creators across time zones and cultures, with the leadership presence to guide a team at scale.
- Opinionated, collaborative, and allergic to boring content — with the cultural sensitivity to adapt ideas for local relevance.
