Working across the full marketing mix you will have managed multiple projects across digital, print and/or packaging.
This is a fast-paced role working within the Creative Op's Management team.
We are looking to bring in someone with a real self-starter mentality, who is ready to hit the ground running and take ownership of their projects from day one.
The Production and Packaging Manager will work closely with Category Marketing and Product Development teams as the primary day-to-day stakeholders, though project scope is not limited exclusively to these functions.
This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
The Production and Packaging Manager will develop relationships and build a rapport with the Category Marketing and Product Development teams, as well as the wider IMC function, to gain a strong understanding of project requirements and product priorities across categories.
The Production and Packaging Manager will take full ownership of all delegated projects and manage the following:
- Project Planning & Scheduling
- Primary point of contact for initial briefing response across WAA-routed projects.
- Develop and maintain project timelines in Wrike, ensuring all key milestones are met across Category Marketing and Product Development workstreams.
- Allocate resources efficiently, balancing workloads and ensuring key stakeholders are kept up to date through the critical path of each project.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and adjust schedules accordingly, flagging risks before they impact delivery.
- Workflow & Process Management
- Ensure proper briefing procedures and documentation are followed on all projects.
- Liaise between internal team partners and WAA to keep projects running smoothly and on track.
- Help to manage end-to-end project delivery, from brief intake through to final sign-off and asset handover.
- Act as Brand Guardian at all times, ensuring outputs meet Shark Ninja standards.
- Resource Management
- Support the AD in managing team capacity and flagging where additional resource or support may be needed.
- Work closely with department leads to ensure the right people are assigned to the right projects at the right time.
- WAA Partner Management
- Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for WAA, managing project briefs, timelines, feedback, and delivery milestones.
- Support project hand-off to WAA, ensuring briefs are complete and all assets and context are provided before work commences.
- Coordinate project amends and updates during the production life cycle, tracking revisions in Wrike.
- Help develop and maintain a strong, collaborative working relationship between the internal team and WAA.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Act as the central point of contact for all project timelines and deliverables across Category Marketing and Product Development.
- Keep key stakeholders informed on project progress, risks, and solutions, proactively, not reactively.
- Facilitate regular check-ins, kick-off meetings, and status calls across internal and external teams.
- Support the AD with reporting and portfolio updates as required.
- Quality & Deadline Management
- Ensure all work is delivered on time to Brand Guidelines and meets internal stakeholder expectations.
- Monitor project scope and flag any potential overages, roadblocks, or re-brief requirements early.
- Manage the review and approval process efficiently, chasing sign-off and consolidating feedback to avoid unnecessary delays.
- Key Skills and Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in project management, traffic, or production coordination within a creative, marketing, or advertising environment.
- Strong understanding of creative workflows, including design, copy, and production.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e. g. Wrike, Workfront, Jira).
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholder teams, including marketing, commercial, and technical functions.
