Sales Analyst is a critical role within the UKI Sales team, focused on delivering analytics and strategic support to SharkNinja’s cross-functional partners across product development, retail execution, performance optimization and proactive business insights. The role will be responsible for building and managing sales tracking tools and acting as the expert on trends, subcategories and retail level performance analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and strategic Sales Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys turning insights into action. Position based in our London office - 3 days a week (Tue-Thu).
Responsibilities
- Serve as the customer and category sales performance expert internally, generating and presenting actionable insights on pricing, promotional impacts, positioning, competitive landscape, forecasting and market needs to develop comprehensive strategies that drive revenue while maintaining profitability.
- Identify category gaps and opportunities for assigned customers, helping to increase distribution, improve display and strengthen overall execution.
- Assist in the management of the demand planning process, tracking current category trends and leveraging them to develop future forecasts, communicating opportunity gaps and risks.
- Serve as the voice of the Sales team in internal cross-functional meetings, highlighting trends and opportunities for expansion within current and adjacent categories.
- Build strong partnerships, both internal and external facing, with a customer service mindset.
- Communicating for impact: Drive objective analytics - communicating actions needed for better performance.
- Ad Hoc Analysis - Ability to quickly process situations and determine what information/data is required to generate actionable insights.
- Innate curiosity and desire to find creative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience within category management, sales analysis or financial analysis.
- Critical - Advanced Microsoft Excel / Office skills.
- Thorough experience with pivot tables, large quantities of data, building charts.
- Ability to take large data sets and boil down to simple takeaways.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and detail oriented, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges to internal and external partners.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
