The IT Site Engineer acts as the primary local IT point of contact, responsible for supporting, operating, and continuously improving the regional IT environment. This role requires a highly hands-on professional who can manage infrastructure, support end users, and implement technical solutions aligned with global standards while addressing local business needs. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership, technical depth, business partnership, and communication skills.

  • Infrastructure & Systems Support
    • Deploy, manage, and support Windows-based and Office 365 across on-premises and cloud platforms.
    • Implement and support infrastructure solutions following vendor and global IT guidelines.
    • Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across server, network, and endpoint environments.
    • Support asset management systems, ensuring accurate inventory, reporting, and data quality.
  • Endpoint Management & Device Lifecycle
    • Manage corporate devices through centralized management platforms.
    • Support device provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting throughout the full lifecycle.
    • Assist in refining device deployment processes and application delivery to improve reliability and user experience.
    • Coordinate hardware procurement, inventory tracking, and device replacements.
  • End-User Support
    • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to users within the assigned region.
    • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, hardware assignment, and security awareness.
    • Act as the escalation point for local IT issues, coordinating with global IT teams or external vendors when required.
    • Maintain clear communication with users, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Automation & Technical Solutions
    • Design and develop scripts, tools, or lightweight applications to address operational gaps or regional requirements.
    • Automate repetitive administrative tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
    • Document solutions and workflows to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Security & Compliance Support
    • Act as the local technical contact during security incidents or alerts.
    • Execute remediation actions and follow-up activities in coordination with global security teams.
    • Ensure local systems comply with corporate security policies and standards.
    • Promote security best practices during onboarding and daily IT operations.
  • Ownership & Continuous Improvement
    • Take full ownership of local IT topics, ensuring issues are resolved end-to-end.
    • Identify weaknesses in infrastructure, processes, or tooling and proactively propose improvements.
    • Implement monitoring and diagnostic solutions to support stability and performance.
    • Act as a trusted technical partner for the local business, balancing global standards with regional needs.

  • Strong experience supporting Windows and Office 365 environments.
  • Understanding of AI tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with endpoint management and software deployment platforms.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory and enterprise identity concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and endpoints.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar).
  • Experience supporting hybrid IT environments.
  • Exposure to asset management or monitoring tools.
  • Experience supporting regional or multi-site IT operations.
