About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Commercial Manager to help accelerate revenue growth on our Retail Technology Show. This is a hands-on B2B sales role focused on generating new business, growing existing accounts, and building long-term client partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue through exhibition stand sales, sponsorship packages, and digital commercial offerings while delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout the full event cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through exhibition stand sales, sponsorship opportunities, and digital commercial products.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to negotiation, contract close, and account management.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities while maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after events.
  • Develop tailored sponsorship and exhibitor packages aligned to client objectives and business needs.
  • Attend sales meetings and present commercial solutions to prospective and existing clients.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets and commercial KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and CRM administration.
  • Ensure all commercial agreements and deliverables are accurately managed and fulfilled.
  • Support exhibitors and sponsors onsite during live events and secure rebookings for future editions.
  • Maintain high levels of daily sales activity and proactive client engagement to support pipeline momentum.

Qualifications

Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within exhibitions, events, sponsorship, media, or related commercial sectors.

Required Skills

  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets and commercial KPIs.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially focused with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client partnerships in fast-paced environments.
