My client, a Global Technology Business, are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in security, automation, and control frameworks to support a critical initiative focused on improving governance around Automation and AI. This role will focus on analysing past security breaches, identifying gaps in current automation practices, and defining robust guardrails, controls, and processes across a complex, regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document historical security breaches linked to gaps in automation controls
- Extract, consolidate, and structure data into central repositories (Excel/databases)
- Engage with security and business leads to gather requirements across multiple domains
- Assess current automation and AI usage across the organisation
- Perform detailed gap analysis to identify control weaknesses and improvement areas
- Define and document security controls, policies, and governance frameworks
- Design and document process flows and workflows to enforce guardrails
- Support implementation of workflows within ServiceNow
- Provide stakeholder engagement and post-implementation support (customer aftercare)
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst in enterprise environments
- Strong gap analysis capability (essential)
- Experience defining and documenting security controls and policies
- Background in automation technologies (e.g. RPA)
- Exposure to or understanding of AI / emerging technologies
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g. financial services, healthcare, government)
- Strong data handling and documentation skills (Excel, data modelling, process mapping)
- Experience with ServiceNow (workflow/process implementation preferred)
Desirable
- Experience working on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
- Experience implementing automation guardrails or AI governance frameworks
