Technical Business Analyst (SQL)

We\’re Hiring: Technical Business Analyst | Network Security & Infrastructure | Contract Day Rate – £500-£550 INSIDE OF IR35 Are you an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a passion for bridging the gap between business and IT in high-impact, security-focused projects? We\’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team and drive the success of network connectivity, resilience, and transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate on business analysis efforts across network transformation, test uplift, and resilience planning. Gather, define, and manage business and technical requirements across cross-functional teams. Conduct risk assessments for network infrastructure and help shape effective mitigation strategies. Create clear, comprehensive documentation including user stories, test cases, and security requirements. Liaise between business, technical, and project teams to ensure alignment and solution clarity. Support yearly planning, business case development, and in-flight project delivery. Communicate project updates and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior leadership. Assist in testing phases such as UAT and security testing to validate solutions against requirements. Facilitate change management and user adoption for new security implementations. Provide training and support on network security systems and protocols as needed. ✅ What You’ll Bring: ~5+ years in a Business Analyst role, ideally within IT, security, cloud, or infrastructure environments. ~ Financial services or banking sector experience is highly desirable ~ Exposure to security tools and processes: firewalls, IDS/IPS, access controls, and testing. ~ Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and the Microsoft Office suite. ~ Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, with strong project delivery acumen. ~ A sharp eye for detail and a structured approach to documentation and communication. ~ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to translate technical topics for diverse audiences.
